SINGAPORE, 30 July 2025 – brwd / KINN (pronounced ‘brewed by KINN’), the in-house café of KINN Habitat and KINN Studios, is excited to announce a special limited-time menu in celebration of Singapore’s 60th National Day.
Following the viral success of its secret matcha menu—later unveiled to the public as the ‘Matcha May- hem’ series—brwd / KINN was inspired to craft something just as distinctive again.
Recognising the rising demand for high-quality hojicha as a roasted counterpart to matcha, the café set out to create a new menu that would mirror the same level of craft, intrigue, and refinement. After an extensive R&D journey, the café is now proud to announce the permanent addition of two signature hojicha drinks to its classic menu, accompanied by three exclusive, limited-time creations to mark their debut.

The Hojicha Harvest Commences: Classic Flavours Meet Special Edition Sips
From 1st of August, brwd / KINN unveils the next chapter of its tea journey with the permanent addition of two new hojicha beverages: the Hojicha Latte and Dirty Hojicha.
In addition, a trio of exclusive, limited-time creations will be available throughout the launch period:
Hojicha Coconut ($7.00) – Earthy hojicha meets refreshing coconut water for a light, toasty pick-me-up.
Hojicha Harmony ($7.00) – Balance the mind and body with a calming mix of hojicha, milk, red dates, and longan.
Hojicha Milo ($7.50) – Hojicha blended with creamy, rich Milo—comforting, chocolatey, and nostalgic.

In a patriotic nod to Singapore’s heritage, brwd / KINN proudly introduces the ‘Shrimply Irresistible National Day Set’:
- Hojicha Milo ($7.50) – A truly nostalgic treat that evokes fond childhood memories for most Singaporeans, reminiscent of the iconic Milo trucks that used to visit schools.
- Savoury Shrimp Croissant ($7.00) – A flaky croissant filled with house-made “hae bee hiam” (shrimp paste) and mayo, offering a savoury, spicy, and satisfying bite. This beloved condiment holds a special place in Singaporean cuisine, often enjoyed in various local dishes and as a festive highlight, particularly during Chinese New Year.
In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, all customers can enjoy one Hojicha Milo and one Savoury Shrimp Croissant for $14.50, and get the second set for 60% off.
All limited-time hojicha items and the National Day Set will be available at both brwd / KINN outlets at KINN Habitat (Hongkong St) and KINN Studios (Keong Saik Rd) from 1 August until 30 September 2025.
