Minimalist Design for Maximum Tranquillity
KINN Capsule’s architectural structure immediately reflects its core value of peaceful rest, seamlessly blending the boldness of its brutalist exterior with the tranquillity within. Accommodating a total of 72 capsules, available in mixed, female – only, and male – only dorms, KINN prioritises the quality guests’ stay in every detail over quantity.
The hotel’s earthy setting and grounded interior design, combined with soft minimalist aesthetics, creates a serene atmosphere that exudes a clean and natural feel. This thoughtful design gives guests the impression of a true getaway in the heart of the city.
With a three-storey tall Ficus tree and the scent of flowers blooming in the Nordic Woods, the environment is specifically designed to allow guests to slow down from the intense and fast-paced life in Singapore, helping them stay present and mentally reset. Beyond mere aesthetics, this approach allows guests ample downtime to rest, recharge, and relax.

Mental : Providing a Means for Self – Expression
We recognise the importance of mental strength, especially while travelling. Our collaboration with Safe Space™ provides complimentary online therapy sessions to all guests with their counsellors-in-training. By providing every guest with a wellness booklet upon check-in, guests can reach out and connect to therapists at their own pace.
Social: Bridging Local Culture to an International Audience
Social connections play a vital role in maintaining a person’s psyche. Acting as a bridge between guests and local culture, KINN offers the opportunity to experience the uniqueessence of Singapore through exclusive events such as our weekly Wellness Wednesdays, monthly TeaTime Makan and quarterly Loco About Local.
Through these events, guests are encouraged to engage with both themselves and the local community. Our events showcase local talent in different shapes and sizes. Providing a platform for creators, crafters and artistes to share their work with an international audience giving guests a slice of Singapore to take home with them. Be it through souvenirs or experiences.
Physical: Granting Access to Workout Programs
Collaborations with fitness partners in close proximity to the hotel allows KINN to provide their guests access to a range of free activities during their stay. Gyms, such as Field Assembly, offer a variety of classes to suit different preferences, while Light House Climbing offers free climbing passes to all KINN guests, inviting them to challenge themselves in a fun and supportive environment.
Ultimately, a hotel’s purpose is to offer a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for every guest. As an added step towards the protection of our guests, our 24 – hour front office team is instructed to lock the doors daily from 10:30pm onwards. Guests who choose to enter after will be required to input a unique password known only to guests staying at the hotel.
Taking this a step further, our property prides itself on the security we provide. Having mixed, male – only, and female – only dormitories, each fitted with its own Igloo Home lock to ensure both safety and convenience. Guests are also given individual lockers to store their personal belongings, with every locker also secured by an Igloo Home lock with a PIN that changes upon checkout. Privacy is not compromised, even within the dormitories of KINN as all our capsules are furnished with its own set of blackout blinds that guests can utilise to ensure they have a restful sleep.
