Nasi Lemak originated from Malay cuisine which consists rice cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaves. This dish is popular in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Southern Thailand. Traditionally, Nasi Lemak is served with various garnishes which includes fresh cucumber slices, ikan bilis, roasted peanuts, hard-boild or sunny-side up and most importantly sambal chilli.
